Brigadier blown away by army reserve support

Centre housed in old Douglas school

A special ceremony marked the opening of a new army reserve centre on the Island on Wednesday night.

More than 150 people showed an interest in joining the armed forces during an active summer recruitment campaign.

The new centre is located on at the old Hannover Street School on the corner of Lord Street in Douglas.
