Broadband network not at capacity, says MT

Customers urged to get in touch if having problems

One of the Island's broadband providers insists its network hasn't reached capacity, despite an increase in people working from home.

All but key workers are currently being instructed to stay away from their place of work, in response to the coronavirus pandemic, resulting in many employees working remotely.

Manx Telecom has found traffic has increased during the day, but it hasn't matched the peak often seen in the evening.

CEO Gary Lamb is urging anyone struggling to get online to get in touch:

If you need support for your MT internet service, you can contact the company on 624624.
