Firefighters were called to a farm in Kirk Michael earlier today when a roof blew off a building.
The incident happened just after 11.30am at Lyngarth on Beechfield Farm Lane when corrugated roofing was ripped off a farm building by gale force winds.
The loss of the roof also meant a supporting wall collapsed, making the rest of the building unstable.
Fire crews used ropes to secure the walls and retrieved the corrugated sheets.
