Bus drivers decide against action

Negotiations to continue

A further round of industrial action by Manx bus drivers has been called off.

Talks will now take place between Unite the Union and Infrastructure bosses on Monday, and staff will not 'work to rule' next week as planned.

It's as a dispute over drivers' holiday entitlement continues.

Union heads had earlier warned that disruption was likely for passengers.

The Department of Infrastructure says it is 'committed to resolving the issue' and 'to maintaining services for the traveling public'.
