The Manx National Farmers Union is calling for action after sheep and cattle were attacked in the north of the Island.
Sharing a graphic image of one of the killed sheep, the union said the attack happened in the Narradale Lezayre area last night (5 November).
It claimed that the dogs it believes to be responsible are medium to large size black and brown dogs which are 'often left to roam and farmers have previously reported them'.
A post on Facebook said: "This is the 4th time this pair of dogs have been known to attack sheep in the area. The police are aware of the problem.
"Please, please report these dogs to the police and film them if you see them loose!! The owner is aware of the dog's behaviour but still nothing has been done."
It added: "DEFA have not acted to progress the updated livestock worrying which could have prevented further incidents and suffering, and could support the police gathering evidence to prevent this tragic outcome. COME ON ITS TIME TO ACT!!!!!"
Manx Radio has contacted DEFA for comment.
