Passing trade 'dropped' as capital project blocks route
A butchers in Pulrose says business is the worst it's ever been since work started on Pulrose Bridge.
Manx Local Butchers opened at the end of the first coronavirus lockdown, and has also since faced two additional lockdowns.
The Department of Infrastructure started work on the £3.4 million bridge project in April, and it's expected to take around 12 months to complete.
Apprentice Butcher Robert Fair says trade has dipped since the closure came into place and they've had to let staff go to make ends meet:
