MGP sessions disrupted due to conditions

Hospitality businesses at The Grandstand say they're hopeful weather conditions will improve enough to break even.

It's been a wet start to the 2026 Manx Grand Prix and Classic TT with weather causing disruption to the schedule.

Yesterday's (17 August) qualifying session was cancelled

Chris Kelly is from The Churro Truck:

It is the second year running for Deja Brew as a vendor at the Grandstand during MGP.

Owner Lucy says the weather is a risk the businesses take:

Roads around the Mountain Course are due to close at 6pm tonight with qualifying set to get underway at 6.30pm.
