The Cabinet Office donated over £1 million to overseas countries and Island-based charitable organisations between April 2023 and March 2024.
The Isle of Man Government allocates £2.5 million annually to its International Development budget, which supports both local charities involved in international work and overseas countries.
Douglas South MHK Claire Christian requested this data from Minister Kate Lord-Brennan through a written Tynwald question, asking about the donations' connection to climate change.
Of the total donations, £750,942 went to international aid, while £313,000 was given to Isle of Man registered charities.
The overall spend of £1,063,942 represents 43 percent of the budgeted allowance.
