A meeting is taking place this evening (Tues) for anyone interested in helping with a large scale conservation project on the Calf of Man.
Work is due to start in the next few weeks to try and totally eradicate a population of rats from the bird sanctuary.
The rodents, which aren't native to the Island, have caused widespread damage to the bird population, eating eggs and young birds.
Details of the scheme will be outlined at the meeting which has been organised by the Manx Wildlife Trust.
It's open to all and gets underway at the i-museum on Kingswood Road in Douglas at 6pm.
