Campaigner claims education is key to reducing pollution
Coastal cleaning group Beach Buddies is hoping to highlight the growing problem of plastic being dumped in and around the sea.
Mass consumption and disposal of plastics mean it's an issue worldwide - with an estimated 250,000 tonnes of it said to be floating in the earth's oceans.
Some experts have also predicted that 200,000 animals die each year from consuming the material's by-products.
Beach Buddies is now bringing its plea to dispose of plastic properly to Island schools.
