Leader gathers 450 signatures in four days
A host of current and former politicians joined more than a hundred people at a protest in the south of the Island today.
Campaigners want RBS International to reverse its decision, which will see Isle of Man Bank branches in Castletown and Peel close in January.
A petition signed by 450 people in four days was handed in to staff at the Castletown branch by protest leader Alwyn Collister.
These people told Local Democracy Reporter Chris Cave they hope it shows the decision-makers how strongly the public wants the bank to remain open:
