Public meeting before by-election
A lively meeting in Peel last night saw a good turnout meet the four candidates who’ll contest a by-election later this week.
Leslie Hanson, Penny Hardman, Ray Harmer and David Pownall debated a wide range of issues in the town, from sewerage to immigration.
All four will battle it out on Thursday when the town goes to the polls to find an MHK to replace Tim Crookall who was elevated to the Legislative Council.
But what did the voters make of it all?
