Chief minister reacts to UK election result
The chief minister says he looks forward to building 'strong working relationships' with Great Britain following the results of the UK General Election.
Alfred Cannan is congratulating Sir Keir Starmer and The Labour Party following their landslide victory in the UK polls overnight and into this morning.
The results across the water means Sir Kier will become the fourth British Prime Minister since Mr Cannan became Chief Minister on Island in 2021.

He adds the Isle of Man will continue to work with the UK Government to obtain the best outcomes for both nations:
