Uncertainty after 2019 over service
Treasury Minister Alfred Cannan says he's hoping the Steam Packet will be able to find a solution to berthing in Liverpool after 2019.
The existing facility is due to close at the end of that year but completion of the new £30 million berth at Half Tide Dock won't be ready until at least 2020.
And that timetable is dependent on how long the planning process takes.
Mr. Cannan says the longer than expected time taken to gain agreement on the new landing stage has been frustrating:-
