
Residents in villages in the west of the Island facing a third day effectively cut off without road access or electricity, are being urged by their MHK to call for help if they need it.
Yesterday road infrastructure teams cleared a route into Kirk Michael from the north but there's still no access from the south.

Around 700 households have been without power as the network succumbed to the severe weather in exposed areas.
Michael MHK Alf Cannan is liaising with the emergency services, local commissioners and other agencies including civil defence, to ensure supplies and assistance reach elderly and vulnerable people.
He's appealed to those running low on food or who are suffering the cold, not to brave it out.
