Modern legislation needed says health minister
The health minister says it's a priority for his department to bring in modern legislation on the issue of capacity.
Results from a consultation last year showed support for a clear legal framework for those who've lost the ability to make decisions for themselves.
David Ashford appeared before a Tynwald committee today (21 June).
He says work is underway to move the issue forward:
