Driver not thought to be seriously injured
A car came off the road in the east of the Island this morning, ending up on its roof in a field.
Fire crews from Laxey and Douglas were called to the scene, on the Laxey side of Baldrine at about 9.20am.
The driver, a woman, was able to climb out before the emergency services got there and was not thought to be seriously injured - she was taken to Noble's hospital by ambulance for a check-up.
Fire and police officers stayed for a short time to make the scene and the vehicle safe.
