Firefighters called to the scene yesterday evening
Fire crews were called out in the west of the Island following reports of a car fire.
When firefighters from the Kirk Michael station arrived at Little London at around 6.20pm yesterday, the fire was well established and had spread to nearby hedges.
The owner smelt smoke and safely got out of the vehicle before crews arrived.
Officers spent just over an hour at the scene bringing the car fire under control and extinguishing the hedge fires.
