Carers facing challenges during coronavirus restrictions

Charity adapts services to support those looking after relatives

Looking after someone you live with while having to self-isolate is proving a challenge for carers on the Isle of Man.

That's the message from Crossroads Isle of Man, which has had to change its day-to-day operations to continue to support carers throughout the coronavirus pandemic.

The charity's shops have closed and staff have been redeployed to deliver food and medicines to carers, while its nursery remains open for the children of key workers.
