Organisers of the Douglas Carnival say the event IS going ahead, despite the less than perfect weather forecast.
Douglas Council and the Douglas Development partnership say they've been liasing with the Met Office this morning (Fri) and whilst the rain is likely to be heavy during the middle of the day tomorrow (Sat), they expect it to have passed in time for the Carnival parade to proceed at 6.30.
All parts of the event, including the Fun Day and After Party, are therefore planned to go ahead as normal.
