Isle of Man Government releases statement
A teaching assistant at Castle Rushen High School was reportedly injured in an incident involving a student earlier this week.
In a statement, Isle of Man Government said:
"Earlier this week, there was an incident at Castle Rushen High School, which involved a craft knife.
"During the course of events a member of staff received an injury to their hand.
"Appropriate action was taken by and for the parties concerned.
"The school and other public authorities are taking this matter seriously and providing support."
