Second phase of social housing project due to cost £13 million
Castletown Commissioners says it's 'pleased' funding has been approved for the second phase of its School Hill redevelopment scheme.
It will consist of 18 bungalows and 30 houses - which will replace the properties built after World War Two.
The second phase of the social housing project is due to cost £13 million and Chair Tony Brown hopes to start the project as 'quickly' as possible.
Mr Brown says the scheme will not have an impact on the rates - and has instead come out of the governments housing deficiency fund.
