Outlet says it received lower-than-expected score

A business in the south of the Island says it's taken immediate steps to address concerns flagged by the Department of Environment, Food and Agriculture during a recent inspection.

The Time Out Noodle Bar branch in Castletown received a lower-than-expected score which highlighted areas for improvement in record keeping, documentation and maintenance rather than food hygiene and quality.

Issues such as damaged flooring and shelves, blue roll dispensers, and wall hygiene stickers were identified which, the company says, has been addressed through repairs or replacements.

Immediate steps were also taken for a transition to digital systems for cleanliness and safety checks.

Additionally, any damaged fixtures have been repaired or replaced to ensure a safe and well-maintained environment.
