A local resident says she doesn't believe the commissioners will do anything about it soon
A resident in Castletown says it’s ‘disappointing’ to go to nearby play areas due to ‘dangerous’ and ‘outdated’ equipment.
Castletown Commissioners closed the children’s park by the tennis courts last month to make some equipment safe and undertake an assessment.
The local authority has said previously the reason for not fixing the play areas is financial and had to ask businesses for donations and fundraise for a skate park in the past.
Local resident Chrissie says she's noticed a change over the years when taking her grandchildren to the parks.
