Operation Telic ended 15 years ago today
A ceremony to remember those who lost their lives in the Iraq war is taking place tonight (22 May).
This evening, wreaths are set to be laid by Manx Veterans who took part in Operation Telic which ended 15 years ago today.
The campaign which launched on 19 March 2003 and ended on 22 May 2011 saw 197 UK Armed Forces personnel lose their lives.
Over Over 140,000 British soldiers served in Iraq over the course of the mission.
The event takes place at 7pm at the Douglas War Memorial.
