Chance to find out more about staying safe online at CYBERISLE2020

Cyber security webinars to be hosted by government

Young people and parents are being given the chance to find out more about how to stay safe online.

Webinars are being posted on the government's youtube channel this week as part of 'CyberIsle 2020'.

Belfast company Ineqe Safeguarding Group is taking part in the event.

The developer is behind the 'safer schools app' which has been rolled out by the education department.

Samantha Lund from DESC says it helps parents learn more about the technology their children are using:

The Ineqe group will be delivering safety webinars on apps such as TikTok, Roblox, Fortnite, and Snapchat.

On Thursday 1 October Ineqe Safeguarding Group will be delivering, via government's social media channels, live safety webinars on:

11am TikTok
12pm Roblox
2pm Fortnite
3pm Snapchat

Hosted by online safety experts, the ‘Back to Basics’ series of webinars give guidance on the safety features of popular social media platforms in 15 minutes.
