Clerk of the Course Gary Thompson hopes it will mean more volunteers are available for contingency sessions
It's hoped bringing next year's Manx Grand Prix and Classic TT events forward will reduce the risk of cancelled races.
This year's Senior Classic TT race had to be cancelled when the contingency couldn't take place because of a shortage of available volunteers.
In 2026, the festival will take place in the two weeks before the August bank holiday.
Clerk of the Course, Gary Thompson, hopes the move will make things easier for everyone:
Amber weather warning issued as strong winds and coastal conditions expected overnight
Hospice funding criticised by UK charity chief amid Isle of Man service cuts
Sailings cancelled as storm brings gale-force winds
Manx Mountain Marathon route diverted over safety concerns amid forecast strong winds
