Chaotic document storage made Covid review process 'significantly harder'

The chair of the review says her work was slowed by government's record keeping and data storage

Government's 'chaotic' record keeping and data storage slowed work on the review into its handling of the Covid-19 pandemic.

That's the verdict of the review's chair, Kate Brunner KC, who published her 3,600-page report this week.

In gathering its evidence, the review found some meetings did not have minutes, files were not kept in a uniform manner and one minister had deleted all of his emails from the week leading up to lockdown.

While Ms Brunner says she has no concerns over the authenticity of the material she was supplied with, she told Manx Radio it did hinder progress:
