Statement withdrawn by complainant
A Douglas woman has walked free from court after all charges against her were dropped.
Thirty-six-year-old Nicola Donna Gelling, of Empire Terrace in Douglas, had been charged with criminal damage and affray after an incident on 25 February.
However, when she appeared before High Bailiff Jayne Hughes at Douglas courthouse, prosecutor Rebecca Cubbon told the court the man who’d complained to police had withdrawn his statement.
She offered no evidence and the allegations were withdrawn.
