Service not available in most UK hospitals
A state-of-the-art screening process, not available in most UK hospitals, is set to improve diagnosis of breast cancer in the Island.
Technology which produces a 3D scan of the breast has been funded by the Manx Breast Cancer Support Group, to the tune of £115,000.
It's the latest purchase for the new breast unit at Noble's hospital by the charity, which raised well over £1.5 million to build the facility.
