The founder of a environmental charity on the Isle of Man doesn't believe the finding of over 50 syringes in a waste bin will impact volunteer numbers.
It's after a Beach Buddies member has been put on anti-HIV treatment as a precautionary measure after discovering the exposed needles in a plastic packet.
Bill Dale told Manx Radio along with the syringes, they also found a medication box with a person's name and address on it - which has been handed over to police.
He added the member is doing well:
