Minister has stated updating legislation is a priority
A Manx charity has reiterated its hopes for progress to be made on updating animal welfare laws on Island.
A draft new animal welfare bill was thrown out by Tynwald back in April after complaints it wasn't fit for purpose.
Last month, Environment, Food & Agriculture Minister, Clare Barber, stated getting new legislation in remains a high priority.
Juana Warburton of the ManxSPCA is welcoming that:
Ramsey and District Cottage Hospital closure 'inconvenient' but 'significant issues' need to be fixed
Four local authorities looking for by-election candidates
Reinstatement of home births 'remains at top of agenda' for Manx Care
Weekend sailings at risk
