'Looky's Aid' hopes to benefit disadvantaged young people
The family of a Manx resident who died in September after contracting meningitis has moved a step closer to starting a charity in his name.
Lucas Martin - who's been described as a 'force of nature' - was just 21.
His father Brett has told Manx Radio he's determined to keep his son's name alive with 'Looky's Aid' - which will help give opportunities to young people facing adversity.
Brett says the family has experienced some really dark times since his death:
£41K spent on encouraging people to shop local
Baton of Hope to come back to Isle of Man
CoC 'keen' for continuity of sidecar racing at TT
2026 Manx Grand Prix to begin today
