More rain is forecast overnight after flooding today
The Island's fire service is urging people to check the drains and gullies around their properties are kept clear ahead of more rain being forecast later.
Crews in the south of the Island say they had to respond to multiple flooding incidents this morning (Tuesday 4 November).
Rushen Station responded to reports of serious flooding in the areas of Erin Lane and Erin Close in Port Erin, deploying pumping equipment and using sandbags to divert water away from properties.
Douglas Station, Port Erin Commissioners and Manx Utilities were all called to assist due to the size of the area involved.
Crews were in attendance for around four hours.
Meanwhile Douglas Station also responded to Brown Cow Hill in Santon for an hour to help the Department of Infrastructure with flooding in the area there.
Finally, Castletown Station responded to reports of flooding at a property on the Phildraw Road in Ballasalla.
