Part of on-Island oncology services expansion
Patients receiving chemotherapy could benefit from the latest expansion of on-Island oncology services.
Those receiving regular treatment can now have PICC lines, which facilitate the painless delivery of chemo drugs, fitted by an oncology nurse at Noble's Hospital.
Markie Chestnut last month become the first such nurse based on the Island to successfully complete the training needed to insert the lines.
Health and Social Care Minister David Ashford says it'll make a real difference.
