
The Chief Minister says he hopes approaches made to local authorities, over their future responsibilities, will see a wider debate break out.
Phil Gawne has written to the authorities asking, at this stage for what he terms, "an informed gathering of views".
He stresses that no decisions have been made - but goes on to list street sweeping, public toilet provision and off-street parking as some areas up for discussion.
