Brian Keenan died earlier this week, aged 70
The chief minister has added to the many tributes paid to the man known as 'Mr Empress'.
Brian Keenan, who has died at the age of 70, was general manager of the hotel on Douglas promenade for some three decades.
He was a popular and well-known figure to tourists and locals alike.
