Alfred Cannan expects it by Christmas
The review of the chief secretary's role is approaching its conclusion.
Chief Minister Alfred Cannan committed to examining the remit of the position several months ago after several senior officers left their posts.
It followed an industrial tribunal which found a top medic was unfairly sacked for whistleblowing.
Mr Cannan expects decisons to be announced in the near future:
