Police appeal for animal's owner to come forward
Police are appealing for witnesses after a four-year-old child was bitten on the face by a dog.
It happened on Ballakermeen Avenue, Douglas, just before 11am yesterday.
The dog is described as golden or yellow coloured and about the size of a Springer Spaniel.
Police believe the animal may be known as ‘Sunshine’.
It was being walked on a lead by a woman, who's described as having a tanned complexion.
Police are appealing for her to come forward.
