Staff plan uplifting festive programme
Staff and volunteers at Noble's have laid on plenty of festive cheer for those facing Christmas in hospital this year.
A series of events for staff, patients, family and friends starts this afternoon with a carol service with children from St Thomas's primary school (9 Dec, 4pm).
In the run-up to Christmas, local musicians will perform live mini-concerts in the hospital foyer each lunchtime.
The programme starting next Friday (16 Dec) includes hand bell ringers, a pianist, string quartet, a capella signers and the government staff choir.
The hospital's popular nativity scene is making its annual appearance - with a new stable this year to house the tableau.
