Burglary and attempted burglary reported at weekend
Police are appealing for help after reports of a burglary, and attempted burglary, in Port Erin at the weekend.
The burglary happened on Shirragh Way at around 4am.
The attempted burglary happened between 4am and 4.30am on Saturday (18 July).
Officers say residents in both of these areas may have been disturbed around these times.
An investigation, led by the Criminal Investigation Department, is underway.
Anyone who saw anything suspicious is asked to contact Police Headquarters on 631212.
People are reminded to take ‘sensible security precautions’ such as locking their doors and windows at night and ensuring sensor lights, CCTV and Ring doorbells are in good order.
