No alternative says ex-MD
The former head of Citywing says its demise was down to 'terribly difficult circumstances'.
The ticket seller went into liquidation on Friday - after operator Van Air Europe had its flights to and from the Island grounded by the Civil Aviation Authority.
Bosses attempted to source additional aircraft to cover its routes, but found it difficult to do so in the short term.
Ex-Managing Director David Buck says there was little alternative from therein:
Support is still being offered to passengers who had booked flights with Citywing.
It's advised them to not contact the company directly, but to take the matter up with their travel insurer or card provider.
