Numbers of full time, contracted hours staff drops
As the Isle of Man population grows, we will need more, teachers, nurses and police officers, not more civil servants, according to the Policy and Reform Minister.
It follows the Public Services Commission's Report which revealed the number of full time staff with contracted hours dropped by 80 in the last 12 months.
Manx Radio put it to Chris Thomas MHK that many see the civil servants running the Isle of Man, not the politicians.
Mr Thomas categorically denies this:
