More than 80% of students agree with first aid lessons in school
The Head of First Aid Education at the British Red Cross says he believes vital life skills are a valuable addition to the school curriculum.
Joe Mulligan was speaking as it was announced that First Aid will become part of the school curriculum in England from next September.
Research by the British Red Cross shows that 86% of children in the UK believe that learning how to save a life is one of the most important lessons they could learn at school:
