Infrastructure minister defends decision
The infrastructure minister says the closure of Summerhill to traffic, for eight weeks from next Wednesday, is to coincide with the school summer holidays.
It's a key road for drivers using the prom in its current one-way system, to access Onchan and onto the Island's coast road.
Tim Baker says if major changes aren't made now, to allow the capital project to be completed on time, it would only 'elongate the pain':
