Water transferred to Kerrowdhoo
The process of emptying the Clypse Reservoir in Onchan is nearing completion.
The work has been necessary to replace underwater hydraulic valves, one of which was found to be faulty during routine maintenance work in the summer.

The water from the Clypse has been transferred at a controlled rate into the nearby Kerrowdhoo Reservoir.
The work on the valves will be carried out by specialist contractors from the UK at a cost of around £50,000.
