The chief minister has said he would like the Isle of Man to move to the next stage of government's borders framework "this year."
It was previously announced the Council of Ministers is aiming to split level 3 in two.
Level 3A would allow Manx citizens to 'sponsor' family members to come here, on the basis they went through a fortnight of self-isolation, with 3B extending that to businesses.
Howard Quayle wouldn't be drawn on exactly when those stages will be implemented, though:
