Chief Minister, Howard Quayle, is attempting to improve trade relations with other Commonwealth nations at a meeting in London on Tuesday.
He attended a meeting of the 53 member state Commonwealth Enterprise and Investment Council at Westminster.
It's the first time Manx representatives have joined the board meeting as a strategic partner - which brings together heads of government with business leaders.
Mr Quayle hopes it'll help foster closer economic connections with a combined population of 2.4 billion people around the world.
