Gusts reaching up to 75mph expected this afternoon
Several roads around the Isle of Man will close today due to the conditions caused by Storm Brendan.
Amber weather warnings are in place as gusts reaching up to 75mph and coastal overtopping affects the Island.
From 11.30am, Douglas Promenade between Broadway and Port Jack, Castletown Promenade, Shore Road in Gansey and Laxey Promenade will all close until 4pm.
High sided vehicles won't be able to use the Mountain Road between 12pm and 4pm.
The government has tweeted to say it's decided to keep all schools open past home time on Monday.
It says the safest place for children is inside and facilities will be made available until the worst of the weather has passed and buses can safely collect pupils.
The road closures have resulted in changes to a number of scheduled bus services though, which Isle of Man Transport has outlined on its social media pages:
