President doesn't believe Island has capacity to meet population aim
The Chamber of Commerce says it doesn’t believe there is appropriate housing capacity to meet government’s plan to increase the population.
The president has also criticised ‘missed opportunities’ between housing policy and the Isle of Man’s ‘green agenda’.
Kristan McDonald was reacting to this year's Budget which was approved by Tynwald this week,
He told Manx Radio he's not convinced the planning system works and has queried why developers aren’t encouraged to be energy efficient when building:
